Meet the founders

Alysha Love owner and chief editor at Payette Media House

     

Alysha Love
owner & editor

Alysha is an incurable journalist, grammarian and bibliophile. She’s a joiner, overachiever and team party planner. Alysha is a Ravenclaw whose career peaked when she covered the final Harry Potter film premiere for Reuters in 2011.

Alysha’s experience

Alysha spent years working in the fast-paced world of digital political journalism in Washington, D.C., as an editor at CNN and POLITICO. She’s also edited and reported on state and local news at the Idaho Statesman, Missouri Digital News and the Columbia Missourian. She developed her marketing chops at Intuit QuickBooks as the managing editor for the Silicon Valley giant’s editorial content marketing operation. Alysha graduated from the prestigious Missouri School of Journalism.

Alysha is currently an executive board member of ACES: The Society for Editing. She speaks across the country about best practices in editing, social media, and search engine optimization. She’s a trainer for the Poynter Institute for Media Studies and a volunteer coach for its Digital Women Leaders mentoring program.

Seth Love Anderson, Owner and Chief Sales and Marketing Strategist for Payette Media House

     

Seth Anderson
Business manager

Seth is a photographer, drone pilot and outdoors enthusiast. You’ll find him off-roading, rock climbing and hunting on the weekends. Seth’s got an insatiable curiosity about everything, which makes him the guy you want on your trivia team.

seth’s experience

Seth has more than a decade of experience in sales and marketing. He’s worked in a variety of fields — information technology, apparel, finance, and food and hospitality — giving him a broad understanding of the problems business owners face every day.

He’s leveraged his business degree from Elon University and his entrepreneurial spirit to serve as an early adviser to multiple startups. He’s also an investor and consultant for The Avon, a historic adventure hotel and bar in rugged Silverton, Colorado.

 

Meet our intern

Chloe Kay
Public relations specialist

Chloe is passionate about working with others and making meaningful connections. She loves adventures and the great outdoors. If the sun is out, you can bet Chloe will be too, exploring nature and soaking up the sunshine.

Chloe’s experience

Chloe is a full-time college student at Boise State University, pursuing a degree in Integrated Media and Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Business. She has earned certificates in content marketing and social media marketing from HubSpot, data analysis in social and behavioral sciences through CITI Program, research from the BSU library, and Google Analytics. 

She eagerly takes on new challenges that contribute to both team success and personal growth. Her enthusiasm for new experiences and commitment to making the most out of every opportunity make her a dedicated member of the Payette Media House team.
